The recent Newtype magazine to come out in Japan carried this two page spread confirming that indeed, a new Code Geass based anime project is in the works! Rebirth? Oh noes!
And that’s about all we know. No word what it’s about, or when it’s coming out. However, I’m just excited about the fact that it IS coming! I loved Code Geass, and cant wait for me. I am one of those in the camp that Lelouch should stay dead though, so when they print out in big letters (I’ve been told anyway, my Japanese reading skills are ZERO) “REBIRTH”, it has me a bit worried. But whatever the scenario, I cant wait for what they give us. If this does come out in 2010 (which I’m really hoping for), then this year is shaping up to be not bad anime-wise (what with K-On! season 2 and all too!).
